Charles McMillian was 1 of around 300 people that stopped by to grab a plate at our first anniversary of O’nika’s Angels. Charles was one of the last to speak to George Floyd before he was killed and testified at the Derek Chauvin trial. The aftermath of George Floyd’s death was part of O’nika’s Angels being established.
We feel so blessed that we were able to feed so many people in the community, including a local fire station.
A big thank you and shout out to Kermit and Tony for all the grilling, the food was delicious! Thank you to the Lotus ladies for all your help and support. Thank you to Dana Buffie, Vija, Julie, Jason, Jocelyn, Sarah, Nikki, Angela, Onika, and all those who helped today!

For every product ordered, $2 will be donated to O’Nika’s Angels, a local non-profit started by a dear friend whose generosity and service is focused on local families in need.

O’nika’s Angels, along with Edina High School Student Council, will be hosting a Winter Clothing Drive.
We are accepting new and gently used coats for ages 6-18, hats and gloves. Please drop items off at Edina High School.
O’nika’s Angels is partnering up with Hospitality House in North Minneapolis for their Christmas with Dignity Drive. We are hoping you will help us raise $1,000 to purchase gifts on their “most needed gifts list” like toys, computer games and music. 100% of the donations will go towards those gifts.
