O’nika’s Angels donated school supplies for 30 students to Relentless Academy. We are so happy to lift the burden for some of the students and families in the fall.
Help us congratulate Salaam Day, the winning recipient of the O’nika’s Angels Education Scholarship. Salaam graduated from Washburn High School in Minneapolis and will be attending Augsburg College in this fall to study Computer Science. Aim high and dream big Salaam!
O’nika’s Angels went shopping at Burlington Coat Factory for men’s underclothes for Youth Link, and baby items for Teen Challenge. Other items dropped off to Teen Challenge were some receiving blankets that someone made and generously donated.
Since the killing of George Floyd, O’nika’s Angels has been dedicated to helping those effected by the civil unrest in and around Minneapolis, and those effected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Whether it be money, supplies, clothing, or food we are very grateful to everyone who donated to our organization so we could pay it forward in the community.
O’nika’s Angels wanted to support Daunte Wright’s family with the unfortunate death of their “son, brother, father or friend”. On Wednesday we donated to cover two meals from a local restaurant to help feed the family.

RIP Daunte Wright
O’nika’s Angels dropped off 1,118 pounds of non-perishable food, cleaning supplies. laundry detergent. Through our partnership, Edina High School dropped off an additional 1,9 5 8 pounds of non-perishable food to Prism.
The staff at Prism were very excited and grateful.
To celebrate some of our Essentials Workers, O’nika’s Angels worked with Brett Buckner and Seed to Harvest to drop off lunches at the Minneapolis Fire Station 15.

O’nika’s Angels provided 100 coats and several mittens, gloves, hats and scarves to four nonprofit organizations.
O’nika’s Angels provided ten families with $300 each to assist with financial difficulties due to the COVID 19 pandemic and economic crisis in our community.
Thanks to the additional funds from the CARES Grant O’nika’s Angels are partnering with North Side Blessing to give 170 families a Christmas ham, canned corn or green beans, canned pineapple, brown sugar, boxed mashed potatoes, box of macaroni & cheese, dinner rolls, and some kind of box dessert the families can bake.

O’nika’s Angels donated $250 to Homeless Youth Winter Wear Drive, alongside Coach Reeves from the MN Lynx, to help raise funds to get coats for Homeless Teens.
