Onika Nicole Craven is a U of M Morris graduate, an educator, motivational speaker, actress, writer and freelance photographer in Minneapolis, MN. She is a Co-Founder of the non-profit Community Organization O’nika’s Angels.
She serves as V.P for PACE, a non-profit outreach program for inner city youth, Commissioner for Clyde Turner Basketball Camps, Co-Facilitator for Sharing Your Gifts, Expanding Our Minds Initiative and is on the Board of STARS.
Ms. Craven played the game of basketball in high school, four years of college and has been involved as a leader within youth sports for over twenty years. She has led successful girls’ varsity teams at Minneapolis Washburn High School and St. Paul Como High School. She instills teamwork, integrity, discipline and hard work amongst her players that translates from the court to the classroom.
Ms. Craven has worked with several youth that have gone on to play in the NBA and WNBA. For 8 years, she has been a courtside presence at the Minnesota Lynx games as a media consultant for the Minnesota Spokesman Recorder (MSR).
Sarah Healy is a mother of two. She currently works as a clothing retail associate at J. Jill. She has also worked as a retail associate at Pier1 Imports and prior to that was a para-professional in the Minneapolis Public Schools for several years.
She enjoys taking part in community service projects and outreach activities. Sarah’s favorite hobbies include singing, piano, guitar and gardening. She graduated from St. Olaf College in 1996.
One of her most memorable experiences was traveling to Namibia and South Africa to study the Apartheid’s devastating effects on women, children, and families. As part of this experience she visited with many organizations and families affected by this oppressive system to study how people affected by the oppressive apartheid system are rebuilding their lives through the help of non-profit, grassroots, and government agencies.
She is a co-founder of O’nika’s Angels.
Nikki lives in North Minneapolis with her partner and two dogs. In her free time, she enjoys doing service work for her community and beyond. She also enjoys coaching school-aged kids in athletics. Nikki is currently employed as a school-based mental health therapist and works to educate and inform people of all ages about mental health related topics.
She is a co-founder of O’nika’s Angels.
Angela Linder, Hennepin County Human Services and Public Health Foster Care Intake Social Worker. I have a Bachelor of Science Degree with a Major in Corrections and a Minor in Social Welfare from Minnesota State University Mankato. I started my career at Bar None Residential Treatment Center, secure unit, in 1995-1999. I worked at the Hennepin County Juvenile Detention Center from 1999-2011 and started in Human Services as a Social Worker in 2011. After working as a Children’s Social Worker for 2 years I moved to my current position.
I enjoy spending my time helping others. Hobbies include hunting and fishing.
She is a co-founder of O’nika’s Angels.
Shron F is a mother of two. She has lived in Minnesota all her life. After graduating high school, she did a lot of work in the Minneapolis community at Sabathani Community Center. This is where Shron and her peers created a group called O.U.R.S (Opportunity, Unity, Respect and Service). They worked with other youth to keep them out of trouble, give them a safe place to come and be themselves, and to help with whatever they needed. O.U.R.S also worked to bridge the gap between the adults and the kids/teens in within the community.
For rover 10+ years she has works within the Healthcare/Customer Service industries. She likes writing data entry, reading, and loves helping and being there for others in any way that she can. She is more of a giver than a receiver and has been told that it’s a blessing and a curse at the same time. Shron loves spending time with family and friends as well.

Vija Brookshire is an attorney with Messerli & Kramer, P.A., practicing exclusively in Family Law.
She is a proud Minneapolis South-Sider. After graduating from Washburn High School, she attended Stanford University where she majored in Political Science, and then obtained her J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School.
Vija loves being active in the outdoors. She is an avid bicyclist and motorcycle rider, enjoys attending Minnesota United games, and is an ardent fan of the Minnesota Lynx.
